Welcome to my resources page where I share my resources, equipment and supplies that I use in my business and for my blog. I am often asked what machines and products I use for my crafts and projects. I will list the supplies and machines I use or have used and would recommend.
Some of the links I have included are affiliate links. This means if you order something using any of the links below, I will earn a small commission on the purchase. This will not increase your cost of the items but does help support this site.
I live in a very rural area. While I do love to shop local and support my community, sadly, we do not have any shops locally that sell sewing and craft related supplies. I hope to change that in the future, but for now, I purchase most of my products from online sources. Amazon and Fabric.com are two of my favorite online shopping platforms.
Brother Simplicity SB700T Computerized Sewing Machine
I currently use this one with my ruffler foot so that I don’t have to change it out every time I want to do ruffles.
I purchased this machine from my local dealer for under $225.00 which is a great price for a computerized machine. It’s lightweight and easy to use. Threading is a breeze with the easy to follow guides that are on the machine body. It does have a drop-in bobbin system, comes standard with an roomy extension table and 9 snap on presser feet and a nice selection of accessories.
The CS6000i is a good alternative if you just want to purchase a machine online. It offers many of the features that can be found on the Simplicity SB700t and is under $200.00.
Brother Coverstitch 2340CV
I just added a new machine to my Brother line-up about two weeks ago. This was another one of those “I just have to have one” purchases. We use Amazon alot for purchases, from household needs to business supplies and even parts for our Auto Shop, so our Amazon reward points accumulate pretty fast. We saved up our points for a couple of months and I used them to purchase my new Brother Coverstitch machine. I am just getting to know this machine myself but as I learn more about it I will be adding more blog posts and youtube videos about it. In the meantime, you can check out my unboxing video on youtube.
